How can you get lessons?
Working with Nav is easy.  A Trial Lesson will give Nav an idea of how to pitch lessons with you and you will get to see if you are comfortable learning with Nav.  After this, 30 min or 1 hour lessons depending on age and level can be scheduled either weekly or fortnightly.  Nav has rates to help students.  Nav absolutely recommends that you take trial lessons from a few teachers in order to find the person that will work best with you.

History:
Naveen travelled a lot growing up resulting in studying under several teachers.  Eventually studying under Irene Addison in Aberdeen he was guided to Murray Mclachlan.  A summer spent preparing for an audition to St Mary’s Music School with Murray successfully resulted in gaining the priviledge to continue his learning under Richard Beauchamp.

Whilst Murray opened Naveen’s eyes to the greater world of the piano; Richard has truly become the formidable force that taught Nav a way to use his hands in order to withstand limitless hours of play.

Note from Nav: “Music is about a personal pleasure that can be found nowhere else.  There is no formula for teaching anyone.  Your own passion will drive the direction in which any observant teacher will harness your enthusiasm.  There is also no substitute for dedicated, continuous and SLOW practice.  Did I mention SLOW?”
